Mechanical Considerations of the Load of Cycle-ergometer and Its Application in Medical Rehabilitation

Cycle-ergometer has been extensively used not only for enhancement of individual's health and assessment and improvement of athletic performance but also in medical rehabilitation of patients. However, practitioners in rehabilitation medicine may not always understand the mechanics of training loads correctly. This paper is to explain the load of cycle-ergometer with mechanical considerations when it is used in medical rehabilitation.
