Zusammenfassung:Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on job satisfaction and its impact on the performance of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City.   Theoretical Framework: The surrounding environment in which a person works, work methods and work arrangements both as an individual and in a group.   Methods: This type of research is quantitative descriptive. In this study using primary data. Motivation has an effect on employee performance satisfaction of Bank Mandiri Palembang City. The sample in this study were Bank Mandiri employees in the city of Palembang, amounting to 192 people. Work environment has no significant effect on job satisfaction of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City.   Results and Conclusion: Work motivation has no significant effect on the performance of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on the performance of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City. Work motivation has an indirect effect on job satisfaction of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City.   Research implications: The work environment has a significant effect on the performance of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City.   Originality/value: The work environment has no significant effect on performance through job satisfaction of Bank Mandiri employees in Palembang City.
