Zusammenfassung: | Objective: To evaluate the effect of the anticipation of nitrogenous fertilization for the winter period, on dry matter production, crude protein content, handling height and productivity in the grasslands of irrigated Tifton 68 grass.
Theoretical Framework: Tifton 68 use through years of thorough selection, extensive field testing and careful evaluations culminated in the development of the Tifton 68 cultivar with highly desirable characteristics such as: growth, pest resistance, abundant biomass production and important nutritional quality for the rural producer.
Method: A test was conducted in the municipality of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, for 2 years, with fertilizers carried out in weekly plots on June 21, June 28, July 05, July 12, July 19 and July 26 of the year 2021 to evaluate the performance of the cultivar Cynodon sp cv Tifton 68 with controlled release in vegetative development, as well as the impacts of this technology of sizing on its performance and productivity.
Results and conclusion: Anticipation of nitrogenous fertilization in the Cynodon sp cv culture of Tifton 68 had a statistical difference for productivity (g/m²) in year 1 with the best fertilization 234 kg/ha, being the treatment that most closely approximates the result is T4. Anticipation of nitrogenous fertilization was not statistically significant for Height, dry matter content and crude protein.
Implications of the research: With the results of the research, it was possible to identify the positive factors of the use of nitrogenous fertilizers in the controlled release for culture Cynodon sp cv of Tifton 68, so many in the aspects of strengthening biomass and added nutritional value in forage.
Originality/value: a better understanding of the effects of the appropriate use of fertilization on the cultivar Cynodon sp cv Tifton 68, both in the biometric and productive generating economic and environmental performance in agribusiness. |
