Zusammenfassung: | A case of sclerosing hemangioma of the lung in a 13-year-old male is presented. He was admitted because of a solitary coin lesion, 2cm in diameter, in S4 of the right lung on chest X-ray in a screening test for entrance into a junior high school. Partial resection of the middle lobe was performed, and the lesion was histologically diagnosed as sclerosing hemangioma. Sclerosing hemangioma of the lung commonly occurs in middle-aged women. Only13 cases younger than age 20, including our case, have been reported in Japan so far. The features of the other cases are reviewed and discussed. |
