Zusammenfassung: | The predicted survival time of 56 patients with lung cancer was calculated using Geddes' nomogram for tumor size on first observation (Do) and tumor doubling time (DT) calculated according to Schwarz's formula. The patients were grouped by histologic types into squamous cell carcinoma (22 cases), adenocarcinoma (23), small cell carcinoma (6) and large cell carcinoma (5). They were further divided by the mode of treatment: resection (28 cases), radiation (14), chemotherapy (12) and no treatment (2).
