Protection of the Teeth during Microlaryngosurgery

Protection of the teeth is one of the most important problems in microlaryngosurgery. For this purpose, we introduced the use of a mouthguard made of elastic plastic. This mouthguard has the following advantages. 1. It can be adapted well to the patient's teeth, since it was made on the model of his own teeth. 2. It can be made within 10 minutes, using a special instrument named ERKOPRESS. 3. It can protect even a loose teeth satisfactrily from the pressure of a suspension laryngoscope without any dental complication. 4. It does not disturb a laryngoscopic view during the examination.
