Zusammenfassung: | Granular tin was plated on steel prior to chromate treatment. The granular tin plating was obtained by extremely low current density electrolysis or by reducing the concentration of additional tin plate. The dispersedly plated granular tin improved the weldability for sanitary can production because of its lower electric contact resistance, and gave a good corrosion resistance because of its cathodic protection action to steel in comparison with the conventional Tin Free Steel. Suitable covering area of the dispersedly plated granular tin on steel substrate was found to be 1570%. |
