Zusammenfassung: | A card sorting task was designed to enable a teacher to gain an insight into an individual child's structuring of the mathematical principles involved in an experimental course in mathematics. A pilot experiment in which the task was performed on 6 occasions over a period of 7 months by 20 first year secondary school girls suggests that the card sorting task offers a useful tool to mathematics teachers for use either in the normal classroom evaluation program or in research projects involving experimental courses. |
