Zusammenfassung: | A total of 259 amphibians from the Cyrus H. McCormick Experimental Forest, Marquette and Baraga counties, Michigan, were examined for blood parasites between 1972-74. Seven trypanosome forms were encountered, one of which is described as a new species, Trypanosoma pseudopodium, from Bufo americanus. Two other forms new to this area were identified as T. bufophlebotomi and T. schmidti-like sp., both from B. amercianus. These 2 forms may constitute new species but data are insufficient to justify this designation. |
