The Role of Evaluation in U.S. Censuses of Population and Housing
The U.S. Census Bureau has had a wide-ranging programme establishing measures of reliability in recent population censuses. This paper summarises some of the findings, with emphasis on recent work and on the interplay between evaluation and census methodology.
