Taxonomy of Carex Sect. Atratae (Cyperaceae) in the Southern Rocky Mountains

The section Atratae is highly differentiated in the southern Rocky Mountain region where the group has developed several endemic species. Eleven species are recognized, and three new combinations are proposed: C. parryana ssp. hallii, C. parryana ssp. idahoa, and C. norvegica ssp. stevenii.
