Zusammenfassung: | Princeton's collections of Twentieth-Century Public Affairs Papers constitute a large, growing, and highly esteemed resource for scholars and journalists. Most of these materials are held in the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library. The papers of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles '08 are housed in a special library built with funds contributed by his family and friends; copies of the contents of the first 370 boxes are available in the Mudd Library where they may be read in conjunction with closely related materials in recent public affairs. Professor Challener's article is a revised version of a paper he presented to the "John Foster Dulles Centennial Conference: The Challenge of Leadership in Foreign Affairs," held at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, 25-27 February 1988. |
