Zusammenfassung: | After analysing a field experiment we might want to investigate whether a different system of blocking would have been better than the one actually used. Several writers have investigated ignoring the incomplete blocks of a lattice design. In this paper we discuss analysing a complete-block trial as if it had been planned with a resolvable incomplete-block design; the block size may be any factor of the number of varieties. Our results are valuable in predicting the efficiency of incomplete-block designs. |
