Zusammenfassung: | The Box & Cox (1964) family of power transformations is applied to the analysis of survival time data. The main objective is to find a member of this family that adequately transforms the data to an extreme value distribution. Inferences for the transformation parameter are based on the likelihood approach and on the posterior distribution under invariant Jeffreys' priors. The approach can also be used to discriminate among alternative survival models. |
