Lectotypification of Diospyros cayennensis A. DC. (Ebenaceae)

The lectotype of Diospyros cayennensis A. DC. (Ebenaceae) is designated here as a specimen collected by J. Martin in French Guiana. As a result, D. cayennensis becomes the correct name for what has been known as D. ierensis Britton.
