The experimental study on characteristics of wave overtopping of gentle slope seawalls which has wave dissipating blocks (part 2)

The experimental study has been carried out to clarify the characteristics of wave overtopping of the gentle slope seawalls which has 1:3 front grade with wave dissipating blocks, considering the change of seawall's crown widths. The result of the experiment clarified the total flow volume and its horizontal distri -bution of wave overtopping and comparing to the conventional type of wave dissipating seawalls which has 1:4/3 front grade.ir addition, we obtained some useful figures from which the amount of wave overtopping at arbitrary crown width of seawalls can be presum -ed.They are expected to be utilize to settle crown width of seawalls.
