Zusammenfassung:Field measurements of chlorophyll-a concentration are carried out in Mikawa Bay.Characteristics of horizontal, vertical and seasonal variations of the concentration are firstinvestigated. The distributions of chlorophyll-a concentration are compared with Landsat TM data and the possibility of qualitative and quantitative monitoring from space isdiscussed. Higher correlation is found with the difference of CCT counts between bandl andband3 although further study is required for the quantitative prediction.
