Zusammenfassung: | Three kinds of experimental methods are proposed to investigate nutrient release rate fbom the sediment and sediment oxygen demand (SOD). The first method is a continuous-flow incubation method with non-disturbed core sample of the sediment, and is suitable for conventionai use. The second is perfomed with a rectangular, closed nume, which should be used for fundamental research to investigate, i. e., hydrodynamic control of mass transfbr. The third one consists of a rectangular flume and a non-disturbed core sample, which addresses an accurate, standard method and is coupled to measurements widl microelectrodes. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are discussed. |
