Zusammenfassung:Many water utilities in developing countries are suffering from large amount of non-revenue water (NRW), which worsens their financial situations and hampers investment for expansion and improvement of their water supply service. This research developed a model using integer programming to find an optimal combination of NRW reduction measures in developing countries, which takes into account composition of NRW, budget limitation, and cost, benefit and change in effect of each measure. The model has made it possible to show optimal NRW reduction measures and analyze influence of parameters, budget limitation, and other conditions.
