Zusammenfassung: | An extensive study on freeze-thaw durability of belite-based cement concrete was conducted. Concretes with water-cement ratios of 0.25, 0.30 and 0.40 and with various air content were studied. As a result, the combination of compressive strength and air content for an adequate frost resistance became clear. Furthermore, based on the measurement of porosity and observation of micro crack, the mechanisms of the freeze-thaw durability were made clear. From this study, it can be concluded that the freeze-thaw durability performance of belite-based cement concrete was reasonably explained for the first time. |
