Zusammenfassung:Although we all understand that modified asphalt concrete recycling will be one of the major problems we must overcome in the near future, there are few explanations why this is so difficult. To have a clear view as to the difficulty and find the means to settle this problem, we devised a method, in which we repeatedly aged and rejuvenated modified asphalt binder as it was, along with the asphalt concrete and then compared performances of concrete with properties of cement. In the course of this study, we found the major difficulty was caused by the chemical reaction between modifier and asphalt which eventually lead this material to the macro-molecular composition.
