Zusammenfassung:The stability analysis requires innovated computational strategies to overcome bifurcation points and limit points on the equilibrium path of geometrically nonlinear structures. The present paper describes computational strategies to study the bifurcation phenomenon of structures. The validity of all the proposed computational procedures is examined on numerical examples including simple, multiple and hill-top bifurcation.
