Zusammenfassung: | Turbulent characteristics in open channel flows are estimated by means of the stress flux model proposed by Launder, Reece and Rodi. Vertical distributions of the components of Reynolds stress tensor and turbulent energy dissipation rate are derived numerically. Numerical results are compared with the previous experimental studies by Nezu and Asano. Then the constants appeared in Launder's formula concerning the turbulent diffusion coefficients are estimated using the numerical results in this study and the experimental studies of the turbulent diffusion coefficients in open channel flows. |
