Zusammenfassung:In this paper, the motions for the small earthquakes are produced by a stochastic point source model with ω-2 property. By summing the simulated motions and making use of the scaling relations between large and small earthquakes, the ground motions from an extended rupture too large to be treated as a point source model are simulated. To show a verification of the proposed method, the simulated ground motions are compared with the recorded ground motions.
