Zusammenfassung: | Before anesthetic induction, the losing of consciousness of a patient, who had left lower lobectomy for lung cancer and has coronary heart disease, was reported. A brain CT was planned because of the patient lost consciousness before anesthesia, after informed consent was obtained the family. At the time of transport to the CT center, it was noticed that an inhaled anesthetic agent had been administrated after we turned off the vaporizer. After explaining the cause of that episode, the operation was performed uneventfully. This case was not malpractice resulting in any disorder. However, we felt that our simple human error caused the patient mental anguish. |
