Zusammenfassung:Artificial optics for plants has recently been developed and used in Japanese factories, where light emitting diodes (LED) maintained by conventional fluorescent lamps are used to advance plant production. This report introduces; (1) the use of LED lighting as a light source for plant growth, as well as (2) the photosynthesis that occurs in these factories, (3) the difference between fluorescent tube-type LED lighting and fluorescent lamps as illuminators, (4) the implementation of fluorescent tube-type LED lighting in plant factories, (5) the development of techniques for effectively using this lighting, and (6) how the practice can reduce costs.
