Zusammenfassung: | R.K Narayan was the keen observer of the 20th century society, this is the reason, and we can see the different elements of social norms in his writings. His psychological phenomena can be seen in his works and writings because through his writings he has incarnation of true meaning of Indian life and Indian culture. Narayan himself bears many problems so that he was deep rooted with his writings. We can see the great coordination of his hand and mind whatever he has written totally related to his experience. The objectives of this paper are to analysis the R.K Narayans social philosophy and his childhood impact over his writings. Swami and Friends was the first book which based on his childhood incidents or it is semi autobiographical novel. It was very famous episode in Malgudi Days tv serial. Through his novels one can know about the real situation of women, in the novel The Guide Narayan portraits the picture of women through the character of Rosie. She is the character who fights between the traditional norms and liberation. Narayans women were shy, they feel guilt if they protest in favor of theirs rights. |
