Zusammenfassung: | A new method for the detection of amino acids in liquid chromatography was developed, in which the indirect coulometry with controlled potential using copper working electrode was applied to the determination of more than 10-6 moles of amino acids in the effluent. The analytical curves were linear for most amino acids which form only 1:2 copper complexes, but were not linear for glycine, which formed more than one species of complex. The results agreed approximately with the values calculated, but it was difficult to say that the method was just the suitable micro analytical method for amino acids, because of its lower sensitivity. |
