Zusammenfassung: | In this section we report the outcomes of our survey to identify native isolates of entomopathogenic fungi from South Indian tea-growing regions. Numerous isolates are from the genera Metarizhium sp. and Beauveria sp. were retrieved from the four regions of south India where cultivate tea. Among the 180 samples, 50 isolates of an entomopathogenic fungus have been identified. The isolated fungi performed exceptionally well in controlling insects, and they might be mass-produced in the future to manage pests effectively. |
