Zusammenfassung:The change of load value causes oscillation on frequency and voltage of the generator in a multi-machine power generation system. Therefore, compensator is necessary to increase the frequency and voltage stability, so that oscillation occurs in a short time and with low amplitude. In this paper, a controller to improve the dynamic stability of Java-Bali power generator system is proposed. The proposed controller is PID Power System Stabilizer (PSS) which is tuned by Fire Fly Algorithm (FFA). The simulation results show that the proposed controller can dampen oscillations quickly and with lower amplitude when compared to the system without a controller on Java-Bali power generation system
