Zusammenfassung: | This article seeks to conceptualize the construct of organizational intelligence with its antecedents and consequences and offer an overall view of organizational intelligence. It also makes a conceptual contribution to form the missing link between individual intelligence research and organizational intelligence studies. Based on a comprehensive literature review, a number of propositions are developed concerning the relationships of organizational intelligence with its antecedents and consequences. Then, a model is presented depicting the relationships proposed, and implications for future research and managerial practice are discussed. Suggested implications include a more significant managerial emphasis on improving organizational intelligence as well as increased attention to social and cultural aspects regarding the development of employees and organization, besides utilizing advanced information technologies. |
