Zusammenfassung: | Flexible display is believed as an innovative device which can change our living mode in the future. Recent technology advances show the possibility of building with real flexible display which has small package, low weight and design freedom, and make active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) attractive in replacing existing glass display. A‐Si TFTs on flexible substrates can be candidate devices of a circuitry of AMOLED with dual driving TFTs structure. By using a‐Si TFTs, we have successful improvements on the lifetime of flexible AMOLED with a new pixel circuit and driving methods for the threshold voltage compensation. In this paper, we will discuss on flexible AMOLED as an emerging display, and will review various technical issues and results which have to be examined. |
