Zusammenfassung:We developed the new photo‐alignment technology for the large size LCD‐TV panel and we named our technology Ultraviolet induced multi‐domain Vertical Alignment(UVA2). The transmittance, contrast ratio and response time of LCD‐TV are drastically improved, because the photo‐alignment layer results in uniform surface with pre‐tilt. The UV2A technology has been successfully applied to our Gen 10 factory.
