Zusammenfassung:Cholesteric liquid crystal micro‐capsules (CLC‐MCs) with a perpendicular alignment shell were investigated. The CLC‐MC cell showed high contrast ratio up to 17:1, reflectance over 30% and uncolored white appearance in bright state. A photo‐addressable electronic paper using the CLC‐MC and an organic photoconductor was also demonstrated.
