Zusammenfassung:This paper describes the development of a head‐mounted display (HMD) based on a high speed miniature CMOS Liquid Crystal Display (CMOS‐LCD) and holographic optics. Taking advantage of the speed of CMOS‐LCD, and low speed scanning in one direction, this new display should be capable of producing RGB color images with high resolution over a large field of view.
