Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to find out the level of students’ hitting skills and student responses after using ball-hitting skills. This type of research is a mixed method with an explanatory model. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of 30 students who were active and contracted in the cricket courses. Before collecting data, the researcher tested the instrument using reliability and validity tests. Then, data analysis was conducted using quantitative data analysis in the form of linear regression and qualitative data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s method. The findings obtained in the field show that students have the skill to hit the ball and respond well. Other findings also show that there is an effect of student responses to the observations made. This means that there is an influence of the tools used on students’ ball-hitting skills.
