Zusammenfassung: | This place hosts rock shelters with cave paintings. The materials studied include: clays, substrates, and pigments in cave paintings. These materials were analyzed using various experimental techniques suitable for structure determination, thermal and morphological analysis. X-ray fluorescence energy dispersive (XRFED) was used to determine the basic composition. This is a versatile, fast, and non-destructive sampling technique used in the archaeological field because it uses a small sample and is not invasive. X-ray diffraction (XRD) is used to identify the clays and demonstrate the present phases. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were used to observe the thermal behavior. These two techniques allow determining any event associated with a change in the thermal properties of a material with respect to temperature or time. Finally, in the morphological analysis, the study of grain size to the clay fraction was performed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). |
