Today we are witnessing another and already the third powerful cultural wave from Japan. At first, this cultural element, following a well-trodden path, swept over Europe and America, and then fell upon Russia and the rest of the world. But this wave is of a completely different nature — it brought and showed us a new Japan, pushing into the distant past the popularized idea of it as a country of cherry blossoms, exotic geisha and militant samurai.
