Zusammenfassung: | [Purpose] This study aimed to clarify the effects of the semitendinosus muscle (ST) and biceps femoris muscle (BF) on lower limb kinematics during the late swing phase of sprinting under selective muscle fatigue conditions. [Subjects and Methods] Seven healthy young adults participated in this study. Sprinting trials were performed before and after selective ST and BF muscle fatigue. Torque and median power frequency were analyzed using surface electromyography of voluntary contraction trials to evaluate selective muscle fatigue. Knee/hip flexion angle and knee extension angular velocity were analyzed in sprinting trials during the late swing phase. [Results] Only the ST and BF were tested under selective muscle fatigue conditions. Lower limb kinematics showed no change before and after the sprinting trials. [Conclusion] The ST and BF had no effect on lower limb kinematics during the late swing phase of sprinting. |
