Zusammenfassung:Virtual memory systems page out a cluster of contiguous modified pages in virtual memory to a swap disk at one disk I/O but cannot find large clusters in applications mainly changing non-contiguous pages. Our proposal stores small clusters at one disk I/O. This decreases disk writes for paging out small clusters, thus improving page-out performance.
