Zusammenfassung: | A number of conditions and specific features are influenced on the reproduction process in Russian agriculture. These are natural and climatic conditions, seasonality of agricultural labor, soil fertility, versatility, high payback period for capital investments, low investment attractiveness. The main means of production and the subject of labor is land, which is characterized by different fertility and different possibilities of agricultural production. The labor process in agriculture is characterized by seasonality. The conditions for the reproduction of labor resources in rural areas are significantly worse than in urban areas. Due to the low quality of life and the level of wages, insufficient provision of residents with social and transport infrastructure. These and other features have an impact on the reproductive process of labor resources in agriculture. The Federal State Statistics Service data and the results of research by domestic scientists in the field of the reproductive process of labor resources in agriculture were used in this study. Obtaining the results was based on the application of general scientific research methods. The study revealed that the agricultural economy is characterized by a number of qualitative trends, in particular low-paid labor, a decrease in the length of agricultural processes, a deterioration in the socio-demographic situation, aging of the rural population, low life expectancy compared to the city, low birth rate, migration of the young population to urban areas. There is a lot of talk about the structural shortage of personnel in agricultural production. The problems of staffing the rural economy with qualified labor are very acute. To solve these problems, a number of targeted programs are currently being implemented at the federal level, for which budgetary allocations have been allocated, but they are clearly insufficient. Regional and local support measures are also being implemented to solve the problems of reproduction of labor resources in rural areas, but they also require a significant increase in budget allocations. The process of forming labor resources in rural areas has a complex system of relations, which leaves an imprint on the formation of human resources in agriculture. The existing wage system in agricultural production does not encourage the recruitment of highly qualified specialists to work in rural areas.
