Zusammenfassung:Visible transitions of highly charged tungsten Wq+ have been observed with a compact electron beam ion trap for the charge-state range of q = 8 - 28 and the wavelength range of 365 - 475 nm. More than a hundred previously-unreported lines are presented, and the charge state of the ions emitting the lines is identified from the electron energy dependence of the spectra.
