Some high molecular weight cationic polymers, poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDC) and poly(4-vinylbenzyltrimethylammonium chloride) (PVC), have been incorporated into the calcium silicate hydrate (C–S–H) structure during precipitation of quasicrystalline C–S–H from aqueous solution.
