Although I also believe that the intentions of the CDC in publishing their Guidelines are honorable, they have placed us in an untenable position. Early drafts of the CDC statement1 on "Preventing Lead Poisoning in Young Children" provided some guidance on the issue of screening in low-risk areas. |
