Zusammenfassung: | To the Editor.—
Ipp and coworker1 should be congratulated for their brief but brilliant piece of work regarding the use of the deltoid, rather than the thigh, for diphtheria-pertussistetanus and polio immunizations in children 18 months of age and older. The observation of lesser pain and fewer severe reactions when deltoid injections compared with thigh injections are used is important. Reducing reactions to immunizations is abundantly logical as an aid to furthering the interventional immunization effort. |
