Zusammenfassung: | The antisera to secretory IgA and secretory component used in our studies reported in Pediatrics were prepared in goats as previously described1 with washed immune precipitates of salivary IgA isolated from saliva by method of Tomasi2 and precipitated by goat anti-IgA antisera. These goat antisera contained antibodies to α-chain and secretory component, as defined by appropriate patterns in immunodiffusion reactions with agammaglobulinemic, IgA-deficient and normal salivas and a pure sample of normal human colostral IgA kindly provided by Dr. T. B. Tomasi.1 |
