Zusammenfassung:Analytical solution of a resistive cable's unit step response is derived and its advantage in accuracy over the approximated discrete circuit is also demonstrated in the paper. A simulation using a resistive cable for the field-probe measurement confirms that reciprocating reflexion caused by impedance miss-matching, which otherwise superposes over measured signal, can be damped and almost distortion-free signal can be obtained at the recording device's input.
