Zusammenfassung: | It may be concluded from the discussion of the literatures that there are not a few business machine operators suffering from occupational health impairment as a result of cummulative fatigue related with working conditions. Therefore, an investigation of work loads and occupational health impairment in business machine operators was carried out to ascertain the relationship between the former and the latter. The results thus obtained are as follows. 1) The nature and the responsibility of the work have effects on the punching rapidity of motion in key-punchers. 2) Occupational health impairment was found in the operators who got higher rapidity of punching. motion at an early stage and performed larger amount of work than the fellow workers. Therefore, it is desirable that the rapidity of punching motion and the work amount should be decreased to prevent health impairment. 3) Typists having more than five actual working hours a day showed a high percentage of health impairment and those having two and a half hours a day showed a low percentage. 4) The responsibility and the superintendence of the work have effects on the fatigue in business machine operators. 5) It is desirable that the working hours are absolutely shortened and that the operators have the work different from punching and typing, if they are not permitted to take a rest at free will accordingly to their feeling of fatigue. 6) It was apparent that occupational health impairment in business machine operators could fortunately not progress owing to their retirement from office because of miscellaneous reasons. |
