Zusammenfassung:Insertion of isocyanides into the Pd-C bond has been observed in the reactions of PdBr[C (CH NMe -2,6] with isocyanides CNR which give the complexes PdBr[C(=NR)C (CH NMe -2,6-C̲,N̲](CNR) (2a-d). An imino bridged complex 5 is formed on heating the imino complex PdCl[C(=NCH CO Et){C (CH NMe )-2}](CNCH CO Et). The structures of 2c (R = nBu) and 5 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.
