Solution and Solid State NMR Spectra of Mono- and Diacetamides Derived from o,o' - Biphenyldiol

o-Hydroxybiphenyl-o'-oxyacetamides and o.o'-biphenyldioxydiacetamides can be prepared from the reaction of o,o'-biphenyldiol and the appropriate chloroacetamide. The products are characterized by their solution ( H , C) and solid state ( C) NMR spectra.
